Soul Kadhi is the quick after meal drink to help you digest the food. It is basically consumed after heavy non-vegetarian meals or festive meals.
  • ½ cup of Wet Amsul
  • 1 cup of coconut milk
  • 2 cloves of Garlic
  • 2 chillies
  • ½ tsp of salt.
  • Coriander for garnishing
  • ½ tsp of sugar
  • ½ tsp of black pepper
  • 1 cup of water
  1. Soak the Amsul in ½ bowl of water for 1 hour.
  2. Make paste of chillies and garlic.
  3. Once the water is infused with Amsul, strain the Amsul from the water and transfer it to the bowl.
  4. Into the Amsul infused water, add Coconut milk and Chilli-Garlic paste and salt.
  5. Add 1 cup of water to this mixture to make it runny.
  6. Mix all the ingredients together along with coriander leaves and some ice cubes and let it stand for 10 mins.
  7. Serve immediately or chill for 10 mins and serve .
You can use either the wet or the dry Amsul to make this Soul Kadhi.
Soul Kadhi can be prepared ahead of time and serves best when chilled.
